Meet Our Team All of our Physiotherapists are Chartered and HPC Registered with a minimum of 10 years experience.
Kevin graduated from Northumbria University with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy in 1997. Following an 18 month period working at Hartlepool General Hospital, he became a full time Physiotherapist at Newcastle United Football Club. He remained at NUFC for 9 years, beginning with the Schoolboy Academy. In 2001 he was promoted to Head Academy Physiotherapist, and specialised in Child and Adolescent Sports Injury. He ran this department for 5 years before being promoted to 1st Team Physiotherapist. During this time he also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine. In 2006 he left NUFC to become Head Physiotherapist and Managing Director of the Osborne Clinic. In September 2013 Kevin opened his own clinic in Sandyford.
Michael qualified in 2005 from Teesside University. He spent 2 years working at Hartlepool United Football Club before joining the NHS. He has continued his education, and has completed Masters Level courses in Manipulative Therapy, Orthopaedic Medicine and Diagnosis and Management of Shoulder Conditions. He now works as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist within the NHS, specialising in the assessment and treatment of complex musculoskeletal conditions. He is a qualified Injection Therapist, enabling him to inject joints with steroid to provide pain relief. Michael has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal conditions. He began working with Kevin in 2011 at the Osborne Clinic, and relocated with him to Sandyford in September 2013.
Trish was a Personal Secretary at Lloyds Bowmaker Finance Group for 7 years and at First Leisure Corporation PLC for 10 years, before joining the Admin Team at the Osborne Clinic in 1998. Having gained extensive knowledge of the clinic, along with patient needs and expectations, Trish went on to be promoted Practice Manager. In September 2013, Trish relocated with Kevin to be Practice Manager at his new venture in Sandyford.
Lisa trained and worked as a medical secretary in London before joining Amari Steel as a PA in Sheffield. Whilst raising her family, Lisa then became a nursery assistant in Ponteland before joining Kevin Bell Physiotherapy in November 2013.
